I talked to Anthony today, I missed him and wanted to hear his voice. Everytime I look at Lola it reminds me of him!
Anyway, he told me that he found out about me getting married etc. I was sad because I didn't want him to hear it from someone who randomly reads my journal, but oh well. I mean, he said he was upset for like five minutes and then he was okay. That means things are going well for him, doesn't it?
Today...
* I had to help people that spoke only Spanish. Their little cockatiel was injured and I had to do the whole translation thing. I didn't realize how poor my Spanish was until today.
* My boss was going to give a 2 week notice to an employee that I'm sort of sad to see go. She was just starting to come around.
* I wish I had more motivation.
* I found a ring that is both affordable, beautiful, and a real diamond! :)
* I am going to be happy, dammit. :) And I'm going to try to get to Harold's before they close and get some pictures developed.
* I will not worry about money.
Tomorrow...
* My mum and dad are coming up to SF. They are picking up their Schnauzers and taking me to Sam's Club to shop.
* My hair is getting chopped off, finally!
* My ferret may get his shots.
* I may not cry.
I've had the stomach flu for the last three days. Today (well this afternoon) I finally feel like my real self again. After a shower and something to eat that was not vomitted immediately after ingesting.
Baby Mogwai poops a lot. I thought that it would stop in a few days because of a better quality food. Apparently, he is just a pooper.
Goddamn, and it's stinky.
I have new pics of him, he had his first bath the other day and he did SO good! And then he was so sweet afterwards like "Oh please hold me, I promise I won't be stinky ever again" Yeah rightttt.
Anyway, I have nothing of importance to write.

What are you thankful for?
The last year was full of regret, but also of a lot of things that helped me realize what I needed to be happy. I am thankful that I have the courage to SEEK happiness even if it took an unhappy situation to make it so. I'm happy that I finally found medicines that are making me feel alright. I am thankful that Rob is here and that we're doing great. I am thankful for everything he has brought to me. Love and confidence.
I am thankful that my family can be together on this day. I am thankful that we have a roof over our heads and that all my pets are safe and healthy.
I am thankful for everything life has brought me, good and bad. It's all a learning experience.
And I'm thankful for Cesar Millan's words "Calm assertive energy." Those words are getting me through problems very easily.

8. Understanding family members - they make up for the not so understanding ones
9. The ability for Robert and I to have completely different opinions on things that are very much important, and being able to STOP TALKING about things when we realize that we're going to have a misunderstanding or row about it. Guns, religion, hunting, etc.
10. The moments right before I fall asleep and I'm in Rob's arms and I look up and see him.
11. Actually being able to fall asleep in Rob's arms, where I couldn't do that with anyone else ever. And being able to cuddle with him.
12. A good healthy sex life for once in my life.
13. Drugs that seem to be doing the trick.
14. Good health and dental insurance.
15. and TiVo. WEEEEE!!!!

We've always had pets. Spencer & Stanley the Schnauzers. Wendy the Chihuahua. Rudy the Cocker Spaniel. Max the Rottweiler. Kitty the Catsssss. Missy the catssss. There's nothing that interesting to want to talk about with them.
Currently I've got a Lola! who is the cutest poodle in the world. I am not sure if she is a mix or not. But she's gorgeous. She is 3 years old and weighs about 8 lbs. She has very curly black and white hair. And she's got such a personality, she's very loving and caring and she has a great sense of humour for a dog.
Sammiches is a yellow Lab. She is 7 1/2 years old and she weighs about 91 lbs. She's gorgeous and is very loving. She likes to lay about and is really lazy. Likes to sleep and eat, that's about it. Only gets excited when either Lola gets excited or when there is someone at the door.
Sir Rigby is an orange domestic shorthair cat. He is at least 7 years old. I'm not sure how old he was because I got him when I was working at the humane society and he was a stray. He is very loving with me and doesn't usually like boys. He is VERY lazy and seems to sleep on my bed or under my bed all day long. He is VERY fat and loves to eat. He loves me greatly.
Howard is a cockatiel who is at least 4 years old. He loves Andrew Bird to listen to and loves my brother a lot more than he loves me. Even though he was my birthday present... he still likes Juan better. He's pretty and doesn't speak much, but will imitate my dogs when they're outside.
