Hand to hand. Okay, so I feel like getting shit out, but for some reason I don't know how to do it or why I need to do it.
Maybe I just need to poop and Mogwai hasn't taught me how to be a championship pooper quite yet.
Today I went to the dentist. I went to the vet. And I went to the eye doctor.
Dentist
* No cavities!
* Teeth were cleaned
* Wisdom teeth come out in one month
Vet (not the one I work for, he's on vacation)
* My poodle is sick, we found out today that she has a bulging disc in her back and we need to cage rest her and give her anti-inflammatories. If it doesn't get better in two weeks, we have to discuss either going to Iowa State University for a two thousand dollar surgery or having her put to sleep. I am working hard to not have a breakdown about this.
Eye Doctor
* My left eye is better than before
* I got contacts again
* woo

I've had the stomach flu for the last three days. Today (well this afternoon) I finally feel like my real self again. After a shower and something to eat that was not vomitted immediately after ingesting.
Baby Mogwai poops a lot. I thought that it would stop in a few days because of a better quality food. Apparently, he is just a pooper.
Goddamn, and it's stinky.
I have new pics of him, he had his first bath the other day and he did SO good! And then he was so sweet afterwards like "Oh please hold me, I promise I won't be stinky ever again" Yeah rightttt.
Anyway, I have nothing of importance to write.
More later, I'm sure

What are the things in life that you're truly passionate about?
Submitted by Jess.
Animal rights - they don't have to be treated like humans. We all know that they are inferior to us, but they still need to be treated with the rights they deserve. After all, if a cow is sacrificing their life to feed you, can't you at least treat it like something that is blessed and wonderful? It's doing something for YOU. Do something for them.
Gay rights - I have many gay and lesbian friends and it pisses me off to hear that they don't deserve the same rights as us. We have the right to fuck up our lives in any way that we want. Why can't they? They deserve civil unions/marriages/health insurance/anything else. They are people too. And if you're a Godly person, remember this: God did not create ANYTHING less than perfect. So respect and love.
Stopping the ignorance of the midwest from infecting future generations.
Art, and my inability to focus on a single painting. Just because I haven't painted something in years, doesn't mean that it's any less important to me than it used to be.
Love. Love is going to lead you by the hand. There is love for everyone on this planet. Romantic love and brotherly love. In the words of John Lennon, the love you take is equal to the love you make. And ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE.
There are three medicines that I put my faith in: Amoxicillin, Benadryl, and Neosporin. Keep those on hand and I'm sure you can survive anything.
Laughter. Without laughter, comedy, and humour, you've got nothing. You've got a boring and meaningless life.

What's your dream career?
Submitted by Something.
My dream career was always something dealing with people and/or medicine. As I got older it got to do with the rights of people and those who couldn't speak for themselves. I've always liked animals, so when I kind of fell into working at the humane society it seemed like the right kind of work for me. I could educate and try to help those animals that didn't have a home.
The management there sucked big time, and I quit in late November. And in early January I got a job at a vet clinic and I absolutely love it there. Lately my mental status has been prohibiting me from enjoying things I normally would. But I think that it's changing. I love this job more because I do more medical type stuff and I do more with animals than with people. I still get to educate, but not as in depth as I used to with people that were adopting animals at the humane society.
I like participating in surgeries and I have always liked paperwork. I enjoy keeping organized records of all my patients and I like all that sort of thing. Weird eh?
Anyway, I don't think I'm where I want to end up for the rest of my life, but I'm definitely close to it. I would like to go to nursing school. But I don't know if I could handle that sort of stress.
